Brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan and taught publically for the very first time in 1969 at Woodstock, Kundalini Yoga awakens our consciousness, raises our awareness and increases our capacity to experience happiness. Prior to this time these teachings were secret and only passed directly from Master to student orally. Despite the centuries old taboo against teaching this technology publically, Yogi Bhajan knew that it was the most effective practice for the transition into the Aquarian Age that we have now been in since November 11th, 2011.

Kundalini Yoga is a complete yogic science and technology. It utilises a combination of breath, posture, movement, mudra and mantra in a specific sequence that is called a kriya – literally meaning “a completed action”. There are thousands of these kriyas, which are still taught exactly as they were given from the first Yogis. It is through the practice of these specific kriyas that Kundalini Yoga balances the nervous, glandular and endocrine systems so that body, mind and spirit are functioning at their optimum. Often referred to as the yoga of awareness and the yoga for the householder, it is the ideal practice for today’s world as it produces profound results in a short period of time, awakening the inner power that exists within every human, creating self mastery and joy. You don’t come to Kundalini Yoga to increase your flexibility, although that improves with the practice. You don’t come to Kundalini Yoga to increase your strength, although that too improves with the practice. You come to Kundalini Yoga to awaken your consciousness and become self aware.
