Sunday 15th September
At Kundalini House
1/391 St Georges Road
As spring approaches, the days become brighter and warmer. Winters chill begins to melt away and liquify, saturating the earth with moisture. The environment around us becomes fertile with growth. In our living spaces we open up doors and windows allowing the spring air in, an invitation for renewal. Naturally, our own physiology also changes. After a long winter, we may feel a little heavy and sluggish. With springs high moisture levels, this sluggishness can turn into congestion, colds and allergies. As a result, this is the prime season to revitalise and rejuvenate our deepest tissues by cleansing and eliminating the imbalances that have accumulated over winter. When we take the opportunity to do this we find ourselves with a renewed sense of vitality instead of being further weighed down by springs potential aggravations.
During this workshop you will learn the importance of aligning with the rhythms of nature. We will begin the afternoon with an invigorating yogic practice followed by a discussion on the qualities of spring and how to maintain balance using the principles ofĀyurveda. You will be guided through lifestyle, nutritional and herbal routines to reduce aggravations as well as the opportunity to follow through with a cleanse, promoting a healthy transition between seasons.
